How Many Potatoes Can Mr. In The Mid-west Eat??

This challenge for Mr. In The Mid-west came about because I found that the 10 pound bag of potatoes we have in our stairwell was starting to sprout eyes, besides the bag of potatoes that was already open.

And, since I am on an Autoimmune Protocol Diet and I cannot have any vegetables from the night shade family it would be up to Mr. In The Mid-west to keep the potatoes from going to waste! Could he do it?

Ready, Set, "Go!"

Hip-Hip Hooray!!

Guess what Mr. In The Mid-west bought when we were grocery shopping last week?

Another 10 pound bag of potatoes! No joke!

He is still not sick of eating potatoes, in fact, he said he could handle eating Hashbrowns and French Fries almost every day. :)

  1. This was great! Good job to both of you, I'm afraid, to my shame, I've let potatoes waste before. I can see why he'd buy more potatoes! :) It looks like you feed him very well, everything looks very yummy! :)

    1. Thank you for your comment, Anonymous! Our dinner plates don't always look photo worthy, but I did try harder, knowing that I was putting them on my blog. :)

  3. Boy, I wish I would fix breakfasts like you do!! If I bother to pour a bowl of cereal it's a win.
    It all looked yummy :)

    1. Thank you for leaving a comment, Haley!
These are the kind of breakfasts I fix for Mr. In The Mid-west. If I was just cooking for myself I would probably have cereal everyday, but it would be hot cereal.
I think cold cereal is good every once in a while, but hot cereal is one of my favorite week day breakfast. It is fast and filling, as well as cozy and comforting. I pour milk over oat meal like most people eat regular cereal. It is so good!

  4. This challenge cracked me up! I agree with the Mr. though...maybe it wouldn't be too healthy for me, but I could eat potatoes everyday. I love them!
