Damage From A Thunder Storm

We had a thunder storm this past Sunday with very strong winds. There were a lot of trees blown over around town. Our power was knocked out for several hours.

Our neighbor's tree from across the street was snapped off in the high winds. Thankfully it did not hit our house although it came very close!

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Nahum 1:3

Wow, that tree came very close! Praise the Lord for keeping you all safe and nothing worse happening! Were there any tornadoes in the area?

Thank you for the comment, sunshine country.Yes, we could see the hand of the Lord at work in the situation and are grateful for his protection. Someone from the neighborhood said there was a funnel cloud that sucked up the top portion of the tree when it went over. I believe it, too, because I know that tree was taller than that and it would have certainly come through our roof.

Praise God you all are safe!! Wow, that looks pretty dangerous to have a power line down like that in the street! Hope and pray the weather won't be too severe this year.

Yes, are grateful for God's protection over us! The city has the street blocked off right away and the power company didn't take long to show up and start repairing everything.
